An original hand carved & printed 4" x 6" linoleum block printed on acid free heavy 6" x 9" Bristol board with Speedball Water-based ink, signed and numbered by eccentric artist Brian A. Bernhard.
This print comes pre-mounted in a 8" x 10" hand cut window matte (ready to be framed) with a hand-carved, hand printed, one-of-a-kind signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.
MY CASIO CZ1000 - is part of a series of musical instrument linocut portraits I was inspired to carve after a collection of my personal musical instruments was stolen from my storage unit in 2017.
Many musicians (including myself) develop special bonds with their instruments, almost as if they are an additional body part, when these creative extensions of our souls are ripped away, its often quite traumatic. My way of dealing with the loss has been to make art.
