This is documentation of a video projection I created at the north end of Madison Square Park in NYC in 2009. The images of the guy sitting, are of Admiral David Farragut, the person whom the monument I am projecting on is about. In the center, are images of explosive sea battles. The eyes are the spirit of the monument watching you watch it. The footprints are to encourage onlookers to engage the space, and the crazy disco lights, are a reward for the person that decided to enter the space. The music is a song called, Damn the Torpedoes by MDFMK that is inspired by same historical figure.
