Well, I cast 2 new sculpture molds, the Skully coaster sculpt and the tiny devil lapel pins, cause I managed to scrap the bottom of the containers from the last 2 batches I had. However, I ain’t got no more resin to cast them with. lol.

How about some of y’all go over to my website and buy some stuff so I can afford to buy some more resin and get to casting these new coasters and lapel pins. lol.

The next level in beverage coaster design, I’m hand sculpting a monstrously #skull design which I will be casting in an opaque resin, painting it, then pouring a clear bar resin over top of it. I think it’s going to look pretty amazing!

My new prototype heat resistant super amazing hand

My new prototype heat resistant super amazing hand made cast resin with a print of my original artwork sealed inside and a cork bottom are now complete! They will be in full functionality to test durability on my coffee table for a bit. I’ve got a bunch of ideas for creating a slew of crazy new designs, I’m also brainstorming some ideas to create some kind of awesome cradle to display them all together and also store them neatly. However the resin to make these things ain’t cheap. And these suckers will always be limited edition collectors items that will most likely outlast all of us even with heavy usage. So maybe this would be the last coasters you may ever need to invest in. lol. That being said, what might you all suggest as a fair price for this type of product? Remembering I ain’t competing with Walmart. lol.

Experimenting and beta testing a new (for me) way

Experimenting and beta testing a new (for me) way of casting resin beverage coasters by encasing high res prints of my artwork inside them. They will be high heat resistant, I’ve protected and feature a cork bottom. Super long lasting and very durable.

This first batch was designed as a set, featuring some of my wild critters.

All 100% made by me on my kitchen table, here in California.

This photo is the coasters still curing in the molds, it takes about 72 hours for these suckers to fully cure.
